Kawasaki have released pictures and limited information about the 2009 ZX-6R at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany.
The new model has lost the one of the neatest underseat pipes in the business, to make way for an ugly side pipe...
Quoting mass centralisation as the objective, one has to ask if the Kawasaki engineers might need few english lessons? Surely a central underseat pipe will centralise the mass better than a side pipe? but what do we know anyway?
As usual with new model releases, this one is faster, better, quicker, greener? than last year's obsolete model. The 2009 model also has a slipper clutch like the ZX-10R.
No power or weight figures have been released to date.
Otherwise, a few tweaks to the velocity stacks as well as upgraded forks (Showa BPF) are also included. Lets see if they can compete in WSS with this one?
